Your Role in Making a Difference:
The Nursing Manager is tasked with the direct clinical and administrative management of designated units.

This role involves overseeing nursing staff to ensure the implementation of a comprehensive nursing care plan that assesses, plans, executes, and evaluates patient care.

Engages in staff development and performance enhancement initiatives as assigned. Initiates and fosters interdisciplinary collaboration to

ensure optimal patient experiences and positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Plans, coordinates, and supervises nursing care delivery on assigned units, ensuring accurate documentation and a therapeutic environment.

Manages staffing, scheduling, human resources, and materials, collaborating with other departments while maintaining effective communication.

Provides direct supervision, motivating staff, resolving conflicts, and conducting unit staff meetings with training.

Evaluates staff performance, generates healthcare-related reports, and collects data for analysis and action plans.


Ensures safety, engages in professional development, provides individualized care, fosters teamwork, and contributes to positive change while maintaining clear and timely reporting.


Qualifications & Requirements:
Education

Graduate from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience

A minimum of three years of experience as a staff Registered Nurse in a psychiatric setting is required

Preferred leadership experience of an additional two to three years.

Licenses/Certifications

Must possess a current License as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.

Specialty certification is preferred.

Must be CPR certified at the time of employment commencement.
