Job Title: Pediatric Hospital Medicine Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hospital Medicine Specialist to join our team at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso. As a key member of our faculty, you will contribute to the university's mission through teaching and service, with some variation by academic unit.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provides patient care to newborns, children, and adolescents in a hospital setting
* Supervises medical students, residents, and advanced practice professionals in the hospital setting
* Participates in the education of medical students and residents
* Engages in the advancement of scientific knowledge through research and scholarship
* Serves the academic community through participation in institutional governance such as committee work
* Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complimentary to the institutional mission
* Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
* Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility

Requirements:

* M.D. or D.O. degree, or foreign equivalent
* Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics Residency Program
* Texas medical license, or eligibility for licensure in the State of Texas
