Pediatric Hospital Medicine Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Hospital Medicine Instructor to join our team at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso. The successful candidate will contribute to the university's mission through teaching and service, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care to newborns, children, and adolescents in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care to newborns, children, and adolescents in a hospital setting
- Supervise medical students, residents, and advanced practice professionals in the hospital setting
- Participate in the education of medical students and residents
- Engage in the advancement of scientific knowledge through research and scholarship
- Serve the academic community through participation in institutional governance such as committee work
- Contribute to the community through academically-related public service complimentary to the institutional mission
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Demonstrate professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility
- M.D. or D.O. degree, or foreign equivalent
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics Residency Program
- Texas medical license, or eligibility for licensure in the State of Texas
