About the Role

The Sales Associate is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering an exceptional optical experience to our guests. This involves bringing together their knowledge, experiences, and personality with the guests' needs and our high-quality fashion brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently deliver sales plans and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose the perfect vision solution.
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Take pride in the appearance of the store and show initiative to keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
  • Help foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators with basic phone and math skills
  • Ability to sell through the use of sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Self-motivator with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment
