Assembly Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Express Employment Professionals. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing assembly duties within quality guidelines to meet company and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform assembly duties within quality guidelines as required to meet company and customer requirements.
  • Set up jobs, including picking of parts, prints, schematics, work instructions, and necessary tools.
  • Pre-assemble components for main assemblies.
  • Assemble components per documented methods and processes.
  • Complete various machined parts as directed, including pins, inserts, and heli-coils.
  • Use power and hand tools in preparation and assembly.
  • Inspect completed assemblies.
  • Communicate recommendations for improvement of process and procedure.
  • Complete inspection forms and supporting documentation when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Experience in manufacturing or production preferred.
  • Ability to complete repetitive work using your hand and wrist consistently all day.
  • Capable of handling a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Attentive to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, negotiate a flight of stairs, and move about facilities.
  • Must be able to lift light to moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Compensation:

$19+/hr. DOE
