We are seeking a distinguished poet with strong teaching experience and a minimum of one well-received poetry collection to join our faculty as the Jacob Ziskind Poet-in-Residence.
Key Responsibilities- Teach five courses over a two-year period, with a teaching load of two courses one year and three courses the other year.
- Advise Creative Writing majors and collaborate in the direction of Creative Writing theses and senior honors projects.
- Contribute to the development of the Creative Writing program at Brandeis University.
- Ph.D. in Creative Writing or a related field.
- Strong teaching experience and a minimum of one well-received poetry collection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A two-year, half-time appointment with benefits.
- A competitive salary range of $42-44K, depending on credentials.
- The opportunity to work with a talented and diverse group of students and faculty.
