Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with product teams to establish cellular modem power specifications and evaluate system-level scenarios for enhanced power performance.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of power systems in cellular modems.
  • Analyze post-silicon power data and waveforms to uncover potential optimization avenues.
  • Actively participate in the measurement and enhancement of modem power, working collaboratively across various functions to guide the product towards successful commercialization while achieving defined power objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 3 years of applicable experience.
  • Experience with power optimization techniques and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams to implement power optimizations that meet top-tier modem performance targets.
  • Strong knowledge of wireless systems, algorithms, optimization strategies, automation, power measurement, and modem architecture.
  • Demonstrated history of innovation and hands-on experience with pre-production silicon hardware and power measurement setups.

Compensation and Benefits:

At Apple, base salary is one component of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a specified range. The base salary for this position is between $138,900 and $256,500, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

They are also eligible for restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
