Job Summary

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role at CVS Health is an entry-level position that prepares an employee for a higher-level supervisory role. As a Shift Supervisor Trainee, you will perform work as directed, complete basic operations and management skills training, and learn about key aspects of the business and CVS/pharmacy culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work effectively with store management and store crews to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Supervise the store's crew through assigning, directing, and following up on all activities.
  • Effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews.
  • Assist customers with their questions, problems, and complaints, and promote CVS customer service culture.
  • Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers.
Requirements
  • Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
  • Advanced communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in retail.
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $16.00 - $24.00 per hour.
