Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MRI technology and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Conduct patient interviews to explain procedures and address concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by following safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.

Requirements:

  • Two years of continuous experience as a MRI Technologist.
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
