Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and organized Activities Assistant to join our team at the Waterville Center for Health and Rehab. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in planning, developing, and implementing activity programs for our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, developing, and implementing activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Activity Director to develop and implement activity care plans and resident assessments.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as completing necessary forms and reports, and submitting them to the Activity Director as required.
  • Involve residents and their families in planning activity programs whenever possible.
  • Arrange transportation for residents as needed.
  • Maintain a productive working relationship with the medical profession and other health-related facilities and organizations.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments as necessary.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or social services setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of software applications.
