Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer - Mechanical Specialist to join our team at our Newburgh, Indiana facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment, identifying root causes of issues, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Provide technical support for the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Reliability Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and increase overall efficiency.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and engineering, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Problem-Solving and Analysis: Utilize data-driven approaches to identify and resolve equipment-related issues, and develop recommendations for process improvements.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, and gearboxes. Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
