We are seeking a dedicated and conscientious Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Offender Population.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in providing quality care to offenders, including initial screenings, medication administration, and health care emergencies.
- Work collaboratively with practitioners and RNs to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain department compliance for inspections and participate in in-service training.
- May provide health-related education to staff and offenders.
- Active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
Full-time employment with a 40-hour work week, with the opportunity to work a variety of shifts. Competitive salary and benefits package, including full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
