ResponsibilitiesAs a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diversified clinical patient care, technical, and related duties within assigned modalities as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing patients and correlating clinical findings with exam/procedure requests
- Documenting patient data within the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Positioning patients and selecting appropriate imaging equipment and supplies
- Identifying, preparing, and administering pharmaceuticals related to exams/procedures
- Applying principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
- Primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography within one year of eligibility
- Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
