Job Description

This Feed Mill Maintenance Specialist position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our feed mill facilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of maintenance procedures and be able to troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment as needed.

The incumbent will work closely with other teams to identify potential issues and develop strategies to prevent downtime and optimize production processes.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting daily maintenance activities and scheduling additional work as required
2. Following standard operating procedures for maintenance tasks, including replacing and adjusting equipment
3. Maintaining awareness of maintenance problems and developing solutions to address them
4. Developing and implementing cost-effective preventative maintenance programs
5. Monitoring and maintaining feed mill equipment to ensure optimal performance
6. Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations
7. Collaborating with colleagues to meet production schedules and resolve maintenance-related issues

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this Feed Mill Maintenance Specialist position, applicants must possess:

• A high school diploma and at least one year of experience in industrial maintenance
• The ability to read and speak English fluently
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues, including solid-state circuitry and VFD drives
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems, including compressors, cylinders, and solenoid valves
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic feed mill environment, exposed to various chemicals, dust, and noise. They will need to be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
