The estimated salary range for this position is $ 60,000 - 80,000 per year, based on the location of Creswell Feed Mill.

Job DescriptionThe Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance to keep the feed mill running. This includes installing new equipment and altering existing equipment as directed.
This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with milling equipment. The successful candidate will also possess basic computer skills and knowledge of PLC automation.
Required Skills and Qualifications- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2+ years relevant experience and/or training, required.
- Able to read, write and speak English and follow instructions.
- Able to work weekends and holidays.
- Forklift and Bobcat certification preferred.
- Welding and electrical skills required, including 3-phase (480 volts).
- Knowledge of PLC automation.
- Basic computer skills.
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
- The mill environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
