We are seeking a Mobile Equipment Maintenance Specialist with expertise in truck-mounted hydraulic systems, electrical circuitry, and diesel machinery. In this role, you will conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on our specialized equipment. You will have the opportunity to take a company vehicle home, with overnight travel averaging between 10-25%.

Equipment Handled:
Boom Trucks, Cranes, Bucket Trucks, Digger Derricks, Utility Vehicles, and more.
Our organization provides a Utility Truck equipped with a crane, welder, air compressor, and specialized tools.
You are expected to supply your own mechanic's tools and should possess a Class B CDL or the capability to obtain one upon hire.

Compensation is based on experience, with opportunities for overtime, a comprehensive healthcare plan, paid time off, a 401k matching program, training, uniforms, and allowances for safety gear.

Key Responsibilities:
• Proficient in troubleshooting hydraulic fluid power systems
• Skilled in diagnosing pneumatic tools
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, hydraulic systems, welding, and related fields
• Experience with diagnostic software such as Quick Serve and DTNA
• Conduct DOT, ANSI, and Dielectric testing
• Assess, diagnose, repair, and/or replace damaged or worn components for various utility equipment manufacturers
• Operate and inspect machinery to identify defects
• Fit bearings and overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Diagnose issues using pressure gauges, flow test equipment, and calibration devices
• Rebuild gearboxes, outriggers, and boom lift cylinders
• Perform initial inspections, diagnostics, and parts requisition
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy machinery using appropriate tools
• Test mechanical products and equipment post-repair or assembly
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks on equipment and vehicles
• Ensure all equipment complies with quality and safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of parts, services, and labor
• Submit work/repair orders for approval
• Uphold professionalism and collaborate effectively with team members
• Execute additional duties as assigned in a professional manner
• Adhere to best practices for a safe working environment
• Participate in monthly safety meetings.

Essential Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience (both Shop and Field Technician roles)
• Valid driver's license required (CDL Class B preferred)
• Must possess your own tools
• Proficient in using software for documentation, meeting deadlines, and adhering to schedules.
