Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Food Services Team Leader to prepare and serve meals, including daily breakfast and dinner, as well as snacks and special dietary items.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Work effectively with a diverse team to foster open communication and a positive working atmosphere.
  • Adapt meal preparations to accommodate various dietary restrictions, ensuring inclusivity for all participants.
  • Engage with staff, volunteers, and community partners to build strong relationships and enhance the overall experience for our clients.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a culinary or hospitality role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food allergies and dietary restrictions is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Commitment to promoting a socially inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds.
  • Current certifications in First Aid and CPR, along with Food Safe certification, are required.
