Personal Banker

WaFd Bank is seeking a skilled Personal Banker to join our team. As a Personal Banker, you will play a critical role in helping clients achieve their financial goals by providing personalized banking solutions and exceptional customer service.

• Build strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions
• Assist clients with opening new accounts, discussing and referring or originating loans, and onboarding new clients
• Introduce and demonstrate digital and self-service options to clients
• Communicate effectively with staff and clients verbally, over the phone, and via video chat
• Develop competencies and certifications necessary to support branch performance goals

• High school diploma or approved equivalent
• Good math skills, 10-key, and keyboarding
• Proficient in standard Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Teams, PowerBI, and Outlook
• Well-developed smartphone and digital channel skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills and superior written and oral communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate how to use automated technology to teach clients self-service skills
• Candidates must meet all requirements of NMLS Registry
• Must have valid driver's license, satisfactory transportation, and adequate insurance coverage
