Automotive Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Equipment Operator to join our team at AutoPort Limited. As an Automotive Equipment Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transfer of vehicles between railcars and designated parking areas.
Key Responsibilities- Follow daily plans and instructions from local leadership to ensure seamless operations.
- Drive vehicles onto railcars, working at heights using a ramp system, and ensure vehicles are properly secured and spaced within the railcar.
- Perform duties to prepare railcars and containers for shipment, including opening and closing railcar doors, setting bridge plates, and chocking and de-chocking vehicles.
- Maintain organization of vehicles in the yard inventory and adhere to all company and industry-related safety standards and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the Terminal Manager and other railroad personnel to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

- Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Willingness to complete a criminal background check.
