Job Summary

Dynamic Group Inc is seeking a skilled EDM Specialist to join our team. As an EDM Specialist, you will be responsible for programming and operating EDM machines, as well as setting up jobs within the robotic cell.

Key Responsibilities
  • EDM Machine Operation: Program and operate EDM machines to precision machine parts.
  • Job Setup: Set up jobs within the robotic cell, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Machine Monitoring: Monitor machines during operation, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Schedule workloads and monitor due dates to meet production requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform inspections to ensure quality products meet company standards.
  • Documentation: Document program changes and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards.
  • Quality System Compliance: Adhere to company Quality System documentation, including the Quality Manual, Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Mold-maker, Machine Tool Technology, or related technical degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret prints, good communication skills, attention to detail, ability to handle job scheduling demands, and ability to work independently.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, move about, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, handle, and touch, exert 25-50 pounds of force frequently, exert 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and exert over 100 pounds of force infrequently.
  • Working Environment: Normal manufacturing environment, working with and around mechanical and electrical equipment.
