At Adventist Health, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services, you will provide psychological services to patients, diagnosing and treating emotional and mental disorders within the scope of licensure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological screening, assessment, and/or evaluations on all patients referred for examination and/or mental health treatment.
  • Prepare treatment plans for all patients requiring specialized therapy.
  • Coordinate with consulting psychiatrists to ensure patients requiring evaluation for medication or re-evaluation of current medications are seen in a timely manner.
  • Deliver supportive services, consultation, and educational programs for the department.
  • Communicate clinical findings in writing and through mental health consultation with organizational staff.
  • Provide documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings.
  • Utilize electronic medical record systems as applicable throughout the scope of duties and responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD).
  • License: Clinical Psychologist licensure in the state of practice.
