Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team as a Mental Health Specialist. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will provide psychological services to patients receiving mental health services, diagnose and treat emotional and mental disorders within the scope of licensure, and assess and provide psychotherapeutic interventions as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Provides psychological services to patients receiving mental health services
  • Diagnoses and treats emotional and mental disorders within the scope of licensure
  • Assesses and provides psychotherapeutic interventions as appropriate
  • Communicates clinical findings in writing and through mental health consultation with organizational staff
  • Provides documentation in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
  • Utilizes electronic medical record system (Cerner) as applicable throughout the scope of duties and responsibilities

Requirements

  • BC/BE in Psychology
  • California licensed or eligible
  • Meets the hospital's medical staff credentialing standards
