POSITION SUMMARY:

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Neonatal Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional care for newborns. This role involves direct involvement in the management of newborns during delivery and in the nursery setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care, including the diagnosis and treatment of acute conditions, as well as routine inpatient care for newborns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide 24-hour coverage for newborns, ensuring timely and effective medical intervention.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Lead neonatal resuscitation efforts and maintain current certifications in relevant programs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
  • National Certification in the state of employment.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
