We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Specialist to join our dynamic team at a prominent organization specializing in taste and nutrition solutions for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors.
Available Shifts:
- Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain packaging machinery, including labelers and tape machines.
- Utilize pallet jacks for the movement of bins.
- Employ scanning devices for material receipts and product transfers.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations to adhere to blending recipes.
- Collect samples for quality assurance checks.
- Input data into SAP systems.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines.
Essential Functions:
- Complete on-the-job training as required.
- Review and acknowledge standard operating procedures.
- Pass written assessments.
- Demonstrate proficiency in tasks independently, validated by a trainer.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable with physical demands including bending, twisting, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs periodically, and moving up to 150 lbs.
- Experience in a factory setting with exposure to basic product chemicals and raw materials is preferred.
- A passion for coffee is a plus.
