Job Overview

The Warehouse Packaging Specialist is a critical role within our team, responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of both internal and third-party cannabis products. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and cross-reference intake sheets for accuracy and compliance with Metrc regulations.
  • Break down third-party items into master packs and re-tag each item in Metrc.
  • Package products with appropriate labels for distribution and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to verify correct quantity, no damage, and proper labeling.
  • Communicate any inconsistencies or questionable products to the team to prevent noncompliant shipments.

Requirements:

  • Packaging experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Metrc experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately for extended periods.
  • Valid OLCC Marijuana Worker's Permit or the ability to obtain one before starting.

Work Environment:

  • General warehouse setting with moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Frequent standing or sitting for extended periods (6+ hours).
  • Frequent lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds in varying temperatures (60°F - 100°F).
