Mobile Vehicle Technician

Clean Harbors is seeking a skilled Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to join their team. As a key member of our safety-conscious team, you will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of all company fleet at branch locations throughout the area.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure a Safe Work Environment: Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and act in a safe manner at all times.
- Maintain Equipment: Correct all equipment deficiencies and perform preventative maintenance on company-owned equipment as directed by management.
- Inspect and Repair: Perform thorough inspections of equipment and identify unsatisfactory conditions, and complete repairs as needed.
- Travel and Logistics: Travel to other locations to perform repairs and maintenance on equipment as required, and maintain active light duty or DQ driver status as per mobile vehicle type.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete and submit all associated paperwork as required for tracking PM schedules.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, with 3+ years prior experience working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
- Skills and Abilities: Valid driver's license and clean driving record, ability to provide own basic tools, willingness to travel within assigned territory up to 70%, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Physical and Mental Demands: Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire, and ability to determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections, scheduled PM's, and diagnostic tests.
