Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension Michigan. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients. Your expertise will help physicians diagnose medical problems and develop effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, following established protocols and regulations.
  • Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormalities to physicians.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient images and documents, ensuring timely submission to PACS.
  • Ensure equipment is properly functioning and report any malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 12 months of hire date.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree within 6 months of hire date.
