Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the planning, design, and implementation of IT solutions in SAP FI-AR / FI-CA / Lease Finance and other FI domains. The successful candidate will coordinate and supervise the execution of technology projects, analyze and detect needs and opportunities for innovation in IT solutions, and ensure optimal solutions and adequacy of IT offerings.

Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional development teams and drive analysis of complex business requirements in FI-AR / FI-CA / Lease Finance and other FI domains.
  • Design and implement complex cross-functional solutions for the subordinates to code and implement.
  • Provide technical leadership and impact significant technical direction; exert influence outside of immediate team and drive change.
  • Participate as a member of and lead development teams of SAP FI areas. Perform analysis of complex functional and business requirements for Finance areas.
  • Prepare code stubs for others and complete code to implement solutions.
  • Design solutions for others to code and participate in cross-functional teams.
  • Lead design activities and may provide mentoring and guidance to other developers.
  • Design, prepare, and execute Unit tests. Represent team to client/customers.
  • Develop innovative team solutions to complex problems and contribute to strategic direction for teams.
  • Apply in-depth or broad technical knowledge to provide maintenance solutions across one or more technology areas (e.g. SAP interfacing technologies and SAP upgrade).
  • Perform solution design and apply HP and 3rd party technologies and lead design of highly complex infrastructure and software solutions.
  • Independently implement end-user or enterprise infrastructure or services of significant complexity.
  • Integrate technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for HP and customers.
  • Mentor and consult with team members and other organizations, customer and vendors on complex issues.
  • Apply in-depth or broad technical knowledge to manage global maintenance services across various technology areas or functions.
  • Apply HP and 3rd party technologies and lead design of highly complex infrastructure and software solutions, while driving innovation.
  • Implement security measures and best practices to protect software applications from vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Implement end-user or enterprise infrastructure or services of significant complexity.
  • Consult with team members and other organizations, customer and vendors on complex issues.
  • Set team strategy and direction and represent team to senior management and clients/customers.
Requirements
  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in computer programming languages, testing tools, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience related to SAP FI-AR / FI-CA / Leasing and other FI areas (or other relevant modules).
  • Advanced understanding of SAP interfacing technologies and modern software development methodologies.
  • Strong leadership of team in solution-driven requirements as tech lead.
  • General Project Management. Customer/ Vendor Management. Business Analysis.
  • Advanced understanding of S4 HANA and BRF+ with integration of SCM.
  • Advanced understanding of Software Test methodologies, and an expert in testing tools.
  • 5 or more years of experience writing code is a plus (such as, and not limited to ABAP and Testing tools).
  • Experience of multiple full release cycles.
