Falls City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and support the rehabilitation process.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders. This will include administering various procedures, such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient's progress and communicate with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders
  • Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy
Requirements:
  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing setting is preferred but new grads welcome
