Job Summary

The City of Roswell is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our city's infrastructure. As a key member of our public works department, you will be responsible for supervising and directing a crew of maintenance personnel in performing a variety of tasks related to street maintenance, park upkeep, and facility maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Direct Crew Members: Provide guidance, training, and support to crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate Maintenance Projects: Plan, coordinate, and prioritize maintenance projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Monitor and enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Operate and maintain a variety of equipment, including vehicles, tools, and machinery, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Perform Manual Labor: Perform manual labor tasks, such as grounds maintenance, park upkeep, and facility maintenance, as needed.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including city officials, residents, and other departments, to ensure that maintenance needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • 5+ Years of Experience in Maintenance or Construction: Required.
  • Valid Georgia Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Required.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Required.
  • Strong Communication and Leadership Skills: Required.
Working Conditions
