Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Assistant Manager, the incumbent is responsible for preparing the dining areas, maintaining cleanliness, and setting tables to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Additionally, the role involves serving meals to guests while maintaining high service standards.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Adheres to all Gaming Commission Regulations and departmental policies.
  • Completes all set-up, stocking, and closing tasks promptly.
  • Clears, cleans, and resets tables in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintains cleanliness in the areas surrounding tables and service stations.
  • Follows health and sanitation guidelines consistently.
  • Exhibits a courteous, friendly, and efficient demeanor.
  • Fosters positive relations with guests and fellow employees.
  • Serves all guests in alignment with established service standards.
  • Delivers items to guests in a timely and polite manner.
  • Assists servers and bussers as needed with pre-bus and pre-set standards.
  • Communicates guest requests to the assigned server.
  • Familiar with the restaurant seating plan, including sections and table numbers.
  • Knowledgeable of restaurant ordering and expediting systems.
  • Coordinates with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and addresses discrepancies.
  • Completes all set-up and closing duties efficiently.
  • Understands all menu specifications and abbreviations.
  • Addresses guest concerns and escalates complaints to the Assistant Manager when necessary.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
  • Complies with food and beverage policies, state liquor laws, and related regulations.
  • Promotes positive public relations at all times.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of 6 months of experience in high-volume food service or customer service, or a combination of education and experience. Experience in table service restaurants is preferred.

Work Environment:

  • May encounter casino-related environmental factors, including secondhand smoke and elevated noise levels.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and lifting of up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
  • The work environment is dynamic, fast-paced, and often crowded.

Closing:

The Tribal Council prioritizes Native Americans in all employment practices. First preference is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet job requirements, followed by members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes.

As part of the employment process, final candidates must obtain gaming licensure through a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations.
