Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Engineer to join our team at Fluor. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership to ensure the successful execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical interpretation of design documents to support construction managers, superintendents, and contractors.
  • Coordinate the completion of construction activities in assigned systems and prepare punch lists to ensure readiness for turnover.
  • Maintain liaison with design engineers to schedule and coordinate the release of construction design documents.
  • Provide marked-up drawings and information required for as-built drawings.
  • Participate in pre-construction planning efforts, including constructability reviews.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Accredited four-year degree in engineering and fourteen years of work-related experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal statutes and guidelines.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious manner.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Construction Management degree or global equivalent.
  • Typically twelve years of field project experience.
  • Commensurate skills for an assignment to a project with a value between US$500 million and US$1 billion.
