The Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will be based in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities- Provide in-depth financial analyses to support the strategic direction of the organization and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with various business functions to deliver financial planning, forecasting, and ad-hoc analyses.
- Develop and maintain financial models to inform key business decisions and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to reduce manual process risk and increase team capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
- 1-3 years of direct finance experience with progressively increasing scope and responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, improve, and simplify processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to prioritize assignments.
- Ability to understand trends and results at a detailed level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear financial reports and other business communications.
