Operating Room Nurse

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in Washington, D.C.
Job Requirements- Specialty: Operating Room

The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures, adhering to standards and aseptic techniques. The nurse will consult and coordinate with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. The nurse will also serve as a communication liaison to patients, families, and members of the operating team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room for patients and surgical procedures
- Assemble equipment, supplies, and ensure equipment is functional
- Consult and coordinate with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans
- Serve as a communication liaison to patients, families, and members of the operating team
Requirements:
- PALS, BLS, and ACLS certification
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district
- 3 years of Operating Room experience
