Sabre Yachts in Raymond, Maine is seeking experienced Carpenters to join our team. This full-time role offers a salary range of $62,000 - $78,000 per year, based on qualifications.

About the Job:

This Carpenter position involves creating high-quality wood components and assemblies for our luxury yachts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in carpentry, excellent hand tool and machine operation skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and create custom wood components using various machines and hand tools
  • Assemble wood parts according to specifications and quality standards
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and achieve project goals
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of woodworking techniques and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
  • Familiarity with boat building industry standards and procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
