Responsibilities:
* Monitor daily denials and submit corrected claims or appeals as necessary.
* Review and identify changes in insurance company policies to ensure compliance in billing processes.
* Analyze and track denial trends by insurance companies, providing insights to management on potential issues.
* Collaborate with families, ensuring clear communication regarding billing issues and resolution efforts.
* Work on the Accounts Receivable (A/R) bi-weekly, following up on any outstanding or unpaid claims.
* Research and resolve billing discrepancies and delays in payments.
* Maintain records of all follow-ups and communications related to outstanding claims.
* Process and submit credentialing applications for therapists, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Maintain organized credentialing records and update them regularly to ensure all necessary information is current.
* Follow up on credentialing applications with insurance companies or relevant authorities to ensure timely processing.
Requirements:
* High school graduate/equivalent or higher
* Prior experience in medical billing, denial management, accounts receivable, and credentialing preferred.
* Strong understanding of insurance policies, billing guidelines, and credentialing procedures.
* Must be proficient in English-Reading, comprehending, and understanding the English language.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
* Proficiency in billing software, Google and Microsoft Office Suite.
