Position Overview

ECPI University is on the lookout for a Clinical Program Supervisor for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography track. Reporting to the Program Director, the Clinical Program Supervisor plays a crucial role in the administration, planning, execution, and assessment of the program, ensuring adherence to quality standards and successful outcomes.

  • Identifying and securing clinical placements to enhance student experiences and support program expansion.
  • Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with clinical partners.
  • Overseeing the clinical education segment of the program, upholding exceptional teaching and learning standards.
  • Coordinating clinical rotation schedules and conducting site evaluations.
  • Providing student guidance and instruction in sonography courses as required.
Qualifications

Education/Certification
  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Current, unencumbered ARMDS certification.
Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of documented full-time professional experience as a general sonographer, cardiac sonographer, pediatric cardiac sonographer, and/or vascular technologist.
  • Experience in a clinical or instructional capacity within a general sonography, cardiac sonography, pediatric sonography, and/or vascular technology program.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Proficient in building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines effectively.
