Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapy Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses, developing effective treatment plans, and collaborating with our team to provide comprehensive care. They will also be expected to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct initial evaluations and reassessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy sessions to promote functional independence and improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Doctoral degree preferred
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in good standing
- 1+ year of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in an outpatient setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs)
- Competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
