Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Dentist to join our team at our community health clinic in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. As a key member of our dental department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, working closely with our support staff, and contributing to the overall success of our clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and administer the dental department, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Represent the dental department at board and department head meetings, and other clinic-related functions, in the absence of the Lead Dental Provider.
  • Maintain a current and good-standing state dental license, and complete all necessary requirements.
  • Provide in-service training to dental and other staff as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and legible dental patient records.
  • Provide diagnostic and treatment services to patients in our on-site dental office and mobile dental office.
Requirements
  • Implement state and federal laws, standards, and guidelines related to dental services.
  • Represent the health center to dental societies and other community and civic groups.
  • Precept dental students rotating through the health center from UNC Dental School.
  • Participate in case reviews during PCHH huddles: Daily & Multidisciplinary.
