Role Summary:
The Senior Technical Operations Lead will provide essential technical support for Crew Operations Digital Technology Systems. This role involves guiding team members through technical challenges, including design and programming tasks. The lead will articulate new solutions and processes to the team while overseeing a comprehensive delivery strategy that incorporates sound technical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess a robust understanding of Tibco and Java, with a preference for Kafka, AWS, and ODM. Coordination with other Digital Technology teams for application and operating system updates is essential.
- Mentor and guide both employees and contractors towards achieving technical excellence and effective people management. Develop a strategy for training and growth opportunities.
- Oversee system integrity by conducting testing and integration assessments for Core Support modifications, while monitoring daily operational performance.
- Assume overall technical accountability, ensuring high-quality and sustainable deliverables. Collaborate with various teams to identify technical challenges and pursue improvements.
- Act as the liaison between the technical team and management, effectively communicating progress, risks, and mitigation strategies. The lead will also address technical challenges and provide guidance during Incident Management discussions.
- Support the Core Support Team and Program Manager in project strategy and execution.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operational support.
- 2+ years of experience in full-cycle implementation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in Tibco, Kafka, AWS, Java, and ODM.
- Ability to work within defined constraints.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science.
- Experience with Kafka/Spark, ODM, and Angular.
- Background in the airline industry.
- AWS or other Cloud Certifications.
- Ability to motivate and inspire teams to excel, especially under pressure.
- Commitment to adhering to project and company standards, ensuring team compliance.
- Inspire team members to deliver exceptional core support.
