Telehealth Technician/LPN Job Description

Valor Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Telehealth Technician/LPN to provide high-quality patient care in our Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Williston, ND.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to patients with diseases and injuries via telehealth modalities.
  • Collaborate with the core PACT Team and expanded PACT Team to develop patient care plans.
  • Actively assist with patient care, physical examinations, and ancillary tests via telehealth modalities.
  • Oversee telehealth appointment scheduling and troubleshoot scheduling conflicts.
  • Perform annual and routine nursing assessments and preventive health services.
  • Administer medications, apply compresses, and observe patient reactions.
  • Operate electrocardiograph (EKG) and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Collect lab specimens and perform waived laboratory tests.
  • Ensure proper clinic stop codes/identifiers are used for each modality.
  • Input patient information into VISTA/CPRS and complete clinical reminders.
  • Assist with front desk, phone coverage, and co-managed care collaboration.
  • Provide patient and family health education and maintain confidentiality of veterans' data.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or certificate of an accredited program of practical or vocational nursing.
  • Minimum one-year experience as an LPN/LVN in a related primary care or ambulatory care setting.
  • Credentialed and in good standing through the Veterans Health Administration (VA).
  • Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong computer skills, including EMR experience.
