We are seeking a Civic Advisor to join our team at Local Government Federal Credit Union. As a Civic Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional member experience by offering personalized solutions, creating memorable interactions, and exceeding member expectations.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years of banking/member service experience and excellent verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills. You will be responsible for building and fostering relationships with current and potential members to increase their financial well-being. This includes demonstrating strong customer service skills, being proficient in Microsoft Office, and having the ability to function in a consumer business office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Demonstrate exceptional member service by providing personalized solutions, creating memorable interactions, and exceeding member expectations.
  2. Build and foster relationships with current and potential members to increase their financial well-being.
  3. Exhibit adept recognition and adjustment to member needs while employing active listening techniques to effectively de-escalate member concerns.
  4. Maintain and balance assigned cash drawer daily, while following operational procedures and cash limits.
  5. Acknowledge and respond to member inquiries via various channels in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 – 3 years of banking/member service experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
  • PC proficient, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).

Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
