Job Summary

Soliant Health is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support the delivery of speech and language therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement Treatment Plans: Assist the SLP in developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to the needs of clients.
  • Provide Direct Therapy Services: Deliver direct therapy services to clients as outlined in the treatment plan, ensuring effective communication and progress monitoring.
  • Monitor Progress: Regularly monitor and document client progress, including behavioral and developmental changes, to inform treatment adjustments.
  • Prepare Therapy Materials: Develop and maintain organized records of sessions, including therapy materials and client information.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with the SLP, clients, families, and other team members to ensure the effectiveness of therapy services.
  • Conduct Screenings and Assessments: Conduct screenings and assessments under the direction of the SLP to identify client needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide Feedback and Support: Offer feedback and support to clients and their families regarding therapy goals and progress, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
  • Adhere to Confidentiality Standards: Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics, ensuring the protection of client information and well-being.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
  • Licensure/Certification: State licensure or certification as an SLPA (if required by state regulations).
  • Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with speech and language disorders is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in using technology and therapy-related software.
