About the Job

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate pharmacist to join their team in a full or part-time capacity. As a pharmacist at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting better health outcomes within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Experience: Engage with patients by offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues in a timely manner, and providing a positive patient experience.
  • Clinical Services: Provide a wide range of pharmacy and healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services.
  • Operations: Counsel patients regarding medication usage, answer questions, and refer to medical providers as needed to ensure medication is taken correctly.
  • People & Performance Management: Assist with staff hiring and training, reinforce pharmacy manager direction, and foster teamwork and motivates team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Licensure: Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience: At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, and insurance.
