The Occupational Therapist at Forest Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation plays a vital role in helping individuals overcome physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges that limit their daily living skills, work readiness, or leisure capacities.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to enhance daily living skills, work readiness, and leisure capacities.
- Provide interventions to improve sensory-motor, perceptual, or neuromuscular functioning, range of motion, and emotional, motivational, cognitive, or psychosocial components of performance.
- Collaborate with patients, family members, and healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Current state license in good standing with the State Board.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate accurately and precisely with patients and family members.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
