Dishroom Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Country Meadows. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain dishware, production equipment, pots and pans, floors, and walls to the highest standards.
- Rotate stock in all food storage areas, including various serveries, cafes, and refrigerated units.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, greeting and serving them with a positive attitude.
- Assist residents with menu selector sheets and ensure their dining experience is enjoyable and satisfying.
- Properly clean and sanitize dishes and silverware according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment, including floor maintenance in the dish room, kitchen, and dining areas.
- Operate the dish machine and other kitchen-related equipment as needed.
- Record temperature and sanitizer test results in temperature logs.
- Kitchen and facility/restaurant dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.
- A positive customer service attitude, demonstrating respect, friendliness, and a willingness to serve others.
- Ability to work and collaborate well with others, multitasking capabilities, and physical stamina to perform the tasks required.
- Ability to understand and speak English at a level that allows safe and efficient job performance.
