Role Summary:

Deliver friendly and attentive service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Shift Details:
  • Evening shifts: 12 PM - 8 PM or 4 PM - 1:30 AM
Physical Demands:
  • Standing/Walking: Constantly on various surfaces.
  • Crouching: Occasionally for cleaning and stocking.
  • Stooping: Occasionally for writing orders.
  • Twisting: Frequently while serving guests and navigating through crowds.
  • Balancing: Constantly while carrying trays and setting tables.
  • Reaching: Constantly for overhead supplies and serving guests.
  • Handling: Constantly while setting plates and carrying trays.
  • Fingering: Frequently for writing orders and operating equipment.
  • Pushing/Pulling: Occasionally moving furniture.
  • Lifting: Constantly carrying trays and supplies, with an average weight of 20 lbs.
Work Environment:
  • Interior and exterior of the hotel, with exposure to various weather conditions.
  • Interaction with food items and beverages.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to all guests.
  • Deliver beverages and food to guests efficiently.
  • Adhere to local beverage service laws.
  • Promote and upsell food and beverage items.
  • Maintain knowledge of various liquor types, drink recipes, and proper serving techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with age verification laws for alcohol service.
  • Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  • Exhibit courtesy towards customers and colleagues.
  • Report any unsafe conditions to management.
  • Ensure hotel equipment is well-maintained.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Composure under pressure.
  • Proficient in using various computer applications.
  • Valid TABC and Food Handler certifications.
