Job Title: Dining Room Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dining Room Attendant to join our team at Omni Hotels & Resorts. As a Dining Room Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and members, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, adhering to Omni's dress code and uniform policy.
  • Provide outstanding service to guests and members, following proper steps of service and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Wipe down service trays with fresh sanitizer water daily and bus tables efficiently.
  • Stock supplies and maintain full ice supply for side stations, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Transport prepared food from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner, ensuring food quality and presentation.
  • Ensure expo food items are covered and dated, discarding expired items to maintain food safety standards.
  • Set tables with clean, pressed linen, china, silver, and glassware, ensuring a visually appealing dining experience.
  • Assist servers during operating hours to help meet business demands, refilling guest drinks and removing extra settings.
  • Inspect and clean coffee maker/urn, cappuccino machine, beverage machines, trays, dishware, silverware, and glassware, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Maintain full familiarity with menus and knowledge of beverage offerings, ensuring accurate and efficient service.
  • Always wear gloves when handling food, adhering to food safety protocols.
  • Cross-train among other positions within the restaurant, expanding your skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain knowledge of the resort property, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Attend department meetings and other required trainings, staying up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Qualifications:
  • Must have and maintain current Texas Food Handlers and TABC certifications.
  • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management, and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
  • Must agree and adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
