Job Title: Senior Industrial Hygienist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Hygienist to join our Southern California team. The successful candidate will be a Certified Asbestos Consultant with 7+ years of experience in asbestos and lead project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental health, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare proposals and reports detailing survey/project information, including methodology, results, and recommendations.
  • Manage client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Mentor and manage staff, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Conduct field work, including asbestos and lead-based paint surveys and monitoring, as needed.
  • Manage project invoicing and accounts receivable.
  • Implement Atlas' Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Environmental Health, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in asbestos and lead, with at least 7+ years of project management experience.
  • California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) certification.
  • California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Lead Related Construction Inspector/Assessor certification.
  • NIOSH 582 Course Completion.
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification is a plus.
  • Current 40-Hour Hazwoper Certification is a plus.
