Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at AllHealth Network. The successful candidate will work in our Acute Treatment Unit, providing exceptional care to adults struggling with mental health issues.

Job Summary:

The Family Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to clients in our Acute Treatment Unit. This includes conducting initial histories and physical examinations, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, and ordering or performing diagnostic tests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial history and physical examinations for clients within 24 hours of admission
  • Provide consultation to staff regarding medical problems and medications
  • Evaluate and monitor client medications, including side effects and adverse reactions
  • Establish contact with outpatient providers for continuity of care
  • Refer clients to outpatient treatment as appropriate
  • Provide competent, quality medical care to clients
  • Ensure medical services and follow-ups are completed within established timelines
  • Document interventions and meet regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with inter-disciplinary treatment teams and partner medical facilities
  • Maintain current knowledge of psychopharmacology
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and within established timeframes
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree (MSN/MS)
  • Licensed in the State of Colorado as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (APN)
  • Unrestricted DEA Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year post-master's direct clinical experience with adult psychiatric clients
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and clinical leadership skills
  • Decision making ability, organizational skills, and effective communication skills
Compensation and Benefits:
